Day 1: Arrival in Rwanda

Welcome to the Land of a Thousand Hills! Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you’ll be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in and relaxation after your journey.

Day 2: Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Explore Kigali’s vibrant culture and rich history, including a visit to the Genocide Memorial and local markets. After lunch, embark on a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park, home of the endangered mountain gorillas.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trek & Community Experiences

Day 4: Cross into Uganda – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Travel through beautiful countryside as you cross the border into Uganda. Arrive in Bwindi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and sanctuary for mountain gorillas.

Day 5: First Gorilla Trekking Experience

Venture deep into the forest for your first unforgettable encounter with a gorilla family. Watch them interact and feed in their natural habitat—an experience like no other.

Day 6: Second Gorilla Trek (Optional) or Relaxation & Nature Walk

Enjoy a second trek for another opportunity to observe a different gorilla group. Alternatively, opt for a forest walk, birdwatching, or a local village visit.

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the scenic Ishasha sector, known for its famous tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive en route.

Day 8: Game Drive & Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel

Begin your day with a thrilling morning game drive, spotting elephants, lions, and more. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, teeming with hippos, crocodiles, and vibrant birdlife.

Day 9: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Depart for the lush Kibale Forest, known as the primate capital of the world. Arrive and relax at your lodge nestled in the tropical rainforest.

Day 10: Chimpanzee Trekking Adventure

Trek into the forest to track wild chimpanzees, observing their playful behavior and complex social dynamics. The forest is also home to many other primates and bird species.

Day 11: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Enjoy a relaxed drive to Lake Mburo, Uganda’s smallest savannah park. Arrive in time for an evening game drive or sundowner at the lodge.

Day 12: Morning Nature Walk

Set out on foot with a ranger for a guided nature walk—Lake Mburo is one of the few parks where walking safaris are possible. Spot zebra, giraffe, and other wildlife up close.

Day 13: Horseback Safari & Transfer to Entebbe via the Equator

Start your day with a unique horseback safari before heading back to Entebbe. En route, stop at the Equator for photos and souvenirs. Arrive in time for your international departure.
